lf you have a sign of trouble:
1) Take foot off the accelerator.
2) Do not brake hard or suddenly.
3) While signalling work your way through any traffic to the breakdown lane. Avoid going into the median.
4) If possible, try to drive towards an exit.
5) If not possible to drive to an exit make sure you car is safely out of the traffic lane and that the car is visible and the emergency flashers are on. If possible light flares, mount warning flags or reflectivities triangles. Put on the dome light in the car at night.
6) Do not try to flag down other vehicles. Put something on your antenna and raise you hood to signal your need of help.
Changing Flat Tire: Make sure that it can be changed safely without endangering yourself.
