Objects look much closer than they actually are when:
- Looking up or down a hill.
- There is a bright light on the object being looked at.
- Looking across water snow r flat sand.
- The air is clear.
Objects look much farther away than they actually are when:
- The light is poor.
- The colour of the object blends with the background.
- The object is athe end of a long avenue or highway.
- You are looking over undulating ground.
