Watch your environment while driving. Frequently check mirrors for potentially dangerous situations. Keep your distance for other vehicles and keep an escape route open.

Drive with windows up and doors locked.
If crashed from behind signal other driver to follow you to nearest police station – if you feel insecure call 999 or 911 on your mobile/cell phone.
If car breaks down – this is when you wish that your battery is charged on your mobile/cell phone – pull a safe distance out of moving traffic – if safe tie something to your antenna – then keep your door locked. If you are offered assistance ask individual to call the police of a towing service.
Be sure that an approaching officer is genuine.
Give up your car if confronted by an armed individual.
